The shard of a goddess I drew on commission recently!

Character: Javi of the Void, Shard of a Goddess

Javi is a god. The goddess of Humanity. Her eyes swell with the essence of who they are as her children: power, potential, and purpose. In all of her travels she had been tested again and again, never relenting, always seeking new heights of glory, until she was betrayed by her fellow gods.

In her fervor to embody the human spirit, she had persuaded a noble human wizard to take the mantle of the god of magic. It worked; the god of magic was imprisoned within the human, its spirit screaming and thrashing inside. However, the human could not contain such divine wrath and imploded.

For her part in this heinous assault on the gods, Javi was ripped into thousands of pieces and sent spiraling through the multiverse.

From the void her evil has returned to reclaim her power and so much more.

"It was always going to be this way. You would have to see the truth. There is no purpose because everything will end. There is no potential because all that can think will simply destroy itself. There is no true power because there is always something stronger. I am not an executioner coming to kill the innocent. I am simply mercy killing sick animals."

What do you think? :)

Was the reference to Karsus' Avatar and the fall of the Netherese Magocracy intentional or a coincidence? Cause that is intriguing.
