Varksha Kor’Luthic, Half-Orc Blade Dancer and Priestess of Luthic (Patreon)

A half-orc warrior I painted on commission a while ago recently got an eyepatch!

Character: Varksha Kor’Luthic, Half-Orc Blade Dancer and Priestess of Luthic

Varksha was raised as a temple dancer in the Bloodfang Clan’s Temple of Luthic. Under the watchful eye of Nishakra, Claw of Luthic, Varksha developed her dancing skills, which later in life became a fighting style where she danced a whirring dance of death with her falchions.

When Varksha was fourteen, the clan was attacked by a rival tribe of orcs whilst she was out gathering herbs for the temple. Nishakra and the majority of the clan were either killed or captured including her younger brother Zagruk. The captured clan members were sold to a group of slavers whom she tracked down, managing to rescue her brother and others of her clan. This success strengthened her faith so that she became a war priestess in the service of Luthic.

Varksha is now travelling with a group of companions: a shifter monk and druid, a dragonborn druid, a human warlock, and an elven archer and mage. During battles against skaven, demons and other foes, these companions have received omens of a dark future. They are currently travelling the lands to find more clues about the nature of this future and how to prevent it. Up until this point their various backgrounds and skills have meshed together to make an effective, although not always harmonious, group, but with every step the stakes are raised.
