Character: Darthoridan Vale, Human Psi Warrior

"His Serene Highness Darthoridan Vale," a title still yet foreign to this knight who roamed the halls of this castle, his castle. The son of a peasant and a royal handmaiden, he was drawn into fighting from quite a young age. Though while his mother pushed for such noble pursuits, his father was obsessed with courtesy.

He rose through the ranks of what would become "his" kingdom, from steward to knight. Knight to garrison commander. Commander to king's guard... King's guard, to the king. When treason was discovered at the very heart of the land, it was he and his compatriots who struck it down. When its source was found to be the newly named "emperor," he abandoned title to strike him down.

The result? He was not tried, nor bemoaned. He had become the people's champion – and so the people named him their king. It's been five years since that day, but as he roams these halls in the hopes of finding adventure once more, he can scarcely believe that they are, indeed, his.
