Meet Goblin Alchemy! Prill, GristleGlug, and FickleBoom are drinking the night away!

Prill is a goblin barbarian. She was raised by elves and until she met GristleGlug had no idea what a goblin was. She’s a naive soul who thinks she’s the prettiest elf with her unblemished olive green skin and large ears. She’s also madly in love with GristleGlug.

GristleGlug is a goblin alchemist. He’s ambitious, cunning, and morally ambiguous. His passion for concocting new recipes of anything from healing potions to things that go boom to mead is matched only by his love for Prill.

FickleBoom is a gnome alchemist. He has a penchant for mixing things that go BOOM, mostly accidentally. He’s a bit addled as a result, supporting his mad scientist mentality through his business venture “FickleBoom’s Alchemical Emporium”.

This was a technically ambitious painting with tons of manual texturing and lighting. I approached it with two slightly different painting styles, with and without pencil lines. The differences are small but important. You can find both versions in HD below!
