So, in the latest “YOU Choose, I Draw!” poll you voted for “Another scene with Ishar Wyden, the godbanger paladin and March pinup girl, and her scandalous lover!” and I’m here to deliver! This is the second time you vote for Ishar and Imrehet! Here’s the previous Ishar/Imrehet winner and its explicit version!

So, about the characters:

Characters: Ishar Wyden, Half-Elf Godbanger Paladin; and Imrehet, Half-Demon Cleric of Light

Ishar Wyden is a brave paladin that has sworn vengeance against the warring gods of Naam. Ishar belongs to the oldest anti-god paladin order, the Order of Theomachy, affectionately known as the Godbangers. Sworn to fight for the greater good by any means necessary, the Godbangers are the most iconic champions in the war against the gods. Their symbols include obscene depictions of the gods, and the theomachic X, also known as the diagonal cross. The color purple is often dominant in their imposing suits of armor, tower shields, tabards, and banners they hoist in defiance of the gods.

As one of the dozens of children of the deceased saintslayer and legendary godbanger, Kaidan Wyden, Ishar grew up in a theomachic temple orphanage in Freycrown. She trained as a paladin from a young age while serving on the city guard, planning to take the oaths of the Order of the Pure Mind alongside her elder brother, Albon Wyden. 

However, as time grew closer to Ishar’s oaths, she realized she would rather fight in the wild and reckless crusades of the godbangers, than spend her life (no matter how short it might be) in the strict discipline and burdening oaths of purity (which include celibacy and abstinence from all worldly pleasures) as a paladin of the Pure Mind.

Imrehet was once a sun elf cleric, heliophant, and antitheurge of the majestic elven kingdom of Khemhotep. He wielded the power of light to safeguard the city from the warring gods of Naam and provided spiritual guidance to elven nobles.

When Khemhotep descended whole to the deepest hell, Pandaemonium, as part of a mad scheme to defeat the vengeful gods of Naam and dominate the multiverse, the sun elves of Khemhotep transformed into half-demons, and Imrehet watched in horror as his fellow compatriots began abandoning elven tradition to embrace demonic impulse. Determined to escape the hellish oppression of Khemhotep and the demonic fires of Pandaemonium, Imrehet leveraged his position to escape back to Naam through a powerful demonic portal.

Ishar, who was on a demon-cleansing mission, arrested Imrehet the moment he stepped out of the portal. Thanks to her and some high ranked paladins of salvation, Imrehet was given a chance to redeem himself by fighting against the warring gods. 

Ishar asked to take Imrehet as her squire, disguised to avoid public outcry, on her dangerous crusades. Her superiors agreed, commanding her to use him against the gods and execute him in case he ever acted against their goals. However, a forbidden whirlwind romance quickly erupted between Ishar and Imrehet, something that neither their friends, nor their enemies should ever find out!

Ishar and Imrehet are characters from the Theomachy setting and the very first paladin I’ve played! (She is taller and stronger than him!)
