Characters: Tealeaf Shadowsworn, Elf Noble; and Captain Cutlass, Elf Pirate

Tealeaf’s life has been filled with heartache and wonder both. Despite her noble heritage, she never shies away from adventures, and drunken bar brawls. Her voice is commanding but her demeanor is laid back and down-to-earth. Tealeaf cares deeply for those around her, perhaps longing to be cared for by others in the way she cares for them. Tealeaf is equally comfortable in a king’s court and in a rowdy tavern, having seen both in their best and their worst.

Captain Cutlass is an elf of mystery and promise! Never more at home than the waves gently rocking against the hull of a ship, he is a pirate, but not the greatest fan of plundering and barraging coastal towns. For Captain Cutlass, is all about the adventure, the thrill of the ocean, scouring long forgotten islands with a spade in hand. He also loves old pirates’ tales! Stories beyond the imagination, like the giant krakipede, (half kraken and half centipede), the ghost otters of Captain Muldoon and the legendary treasure of Mad John - all things which Cutlass swore he had witnessed with his own eyes. Beneath his rugged good-looks Cutlass is a simple elf. He is smart but in a dumb way and always carries off a false confidence that seems to convince those around him that he knows exactly what he is doing - he doesn't.

Considering himself a hit with the ladies, Captain Cutlass fumbles his way through romantic entanglements with cheesy one-liners and repeatedly telling his would-be conquest that he has a boat - unfortunately almost everyone sees through this. There is one special individual that has always saw Cutlass for who he really is, behind the false bravado and still remembers him for the sweet little child he was instead of the grown-up elf child that he is now and that is Tealeaf.
