So, say hello to Konny Saltriver!

Character Name: Konrada “Konny” Saltriver, Sea Dwarf Beer Maid (Secretly a Fighter)

Konny is a young woman of the oldest surviving sea dwarf clan: Saltriver. These pioneers were among the first to leave the safety of the mountains to find their freedom in the embrace of the endless salt river (also known as the ocean).

Once a year, sea dwarven ships from all over Naam return to Bluerock Island, the ancestral island of the Saltriver clan, and dock at the ancient port of Hammerhead Harbor to celebrate the Moonbrew Festival. During the festival, veritable floods of beer and other brews are consumed, and sea dwarves enjoy rare delicacies such as, walrus sausages, fish egg-filled mooncakes, beachroot dumplings, sauermeerkraut, pretzels, whale cheese noodles, and more!

Konny grew up in one of the oldest breweries in Hammerhead Harbor and hasn’t missed a Moonbrew Festival since she could walk. Now, she’s one of the most popular and accomplished beer maids during the celebrations. She’s strong enough to carry dozens of beer mugs at once, and agile enough to jump over tables full of rowdy sea dwarves. But what’s her secret?

In fact, Konny has been training in secret, working out in remote sandy coves and practicing with any weapon drunken patrons leave behind, in order to become an accomplished fighter and leave Hammerhead Harbor. This is going to be her last Moonbrew Festival before her great adventure!
