Lady Keiko Relaxing: Progress Tutorial (Patreon)

As usual, here’s the 5-step process of Lady Keiko Relaxing!

1) I always sketch out the characters with a pencil on paper, OG style. :P 

2) Then I decide on the color palette. Lady Keiko has some signature colors, and I picked an appropriate kimono for her.

3) Then it’s time for the light sources! In this illustration, it was pretty straightforward as Keiko is the sole focus!

4) I add shading and textures.

5) Finally, I polish the illustration and add tiny details, like the sakura leaves on Keiko’s bed!

And we’re done!
