Commission: Fleeing R'lyeh (Patreon)

So I was asked to draw a Cthulhu-inspired lady, and as I was drawing, I came up with a whole backstory where she's the result of some crazy cult's desire to bring about a new god to worship and they forcibly created a knock-off starspawn who is mentally just a normal girl but they're convinced she's they're new deity. Eventually, she discovers that there is a world outside of R'lyeh (where this cult set up their base and raised her), and decides that she wants out, so she runs away having no clue just how much the normal human world isn't going to accept her.

I think the cultists gave her some insane lovecraftian name like Al'gythrhun or some shit, but she hates that and chooses the most cutesy, girly human name she can, like Madeline or Penelope for herself.
