 How to make stickers!

Hey guys! Thanks for giving me suggestions about what you'd like to learn! One thing I saw people wanting to learn was how to turn your art into stickers so here's a quick little infographic for creating cut lines for your stickers.

There are two places I really like for stickers at the moment, sticker app and sticker mule. Although with sticker app you actually don't need to indicate cutlines because their site tool creates them for you. But there's tons of other sites to try too, so knowing how to make the cutlines is really useful.

Anyway here's the steps written out!

Step 1: Grab the Magic Wand Tool

Step 2: Select your image by clicking anywhere on the canvas outside your image

Step 3: Open the selection menu and select “Inverse”

Step 4: Open the selection menu again and select Modify > Expand

Step 5: Pick a number to expand by, this varies by preference and file size

Step 6: Once you have a size you like, create a new layer beneath your image and fill that layer with whatever color you want your cutlines to be

Step 7: You have a sticker

Alternatively also if you're a traditional artist and don't have digital tools for cutting things out you can just send your full image to sticker mule and in the comments section ask them to cut it out and make cut lines for you.
