Here are my two favorite sketchbooks at the moment! The Arteza mixed media 11x14 sketchbook and the moleskine A4 hardcover sketchbook. Moleskine has been my go to notebook for the last few years but recently the arteza sketchbook has grown on me more. Here’s the difference between the two: As you can see in the picture the moleskine sketchbook is slightly smaller and also comes with cream colored instead of pure white paper like the arteza book. Moleskine paper is exceptionally smooth which is what made it my go to sketchbookfor so many years, it makes linework a breeze and it holds copic ink like a boss. I actually like using copics on the cream colored paper because it made any white highlights you added pop more since they were brighter than the page. I’ve been more into texture recently which is why I like the Arteza book, each page is textured on the front and smooth on the back giving you variety of texture, and I love how huge it is. I honestly just love drawing big. I haven’t tried it with any medium other than pencil but it’s been a baller for sharing with pencils. Bonus tip I use pentel drafting pencils for my linework. Hope that’s helpful! This is lorp gribs, signing off~

Definitely wanna try both now. And yes the drafting pencil recommendation does help 😁

Also, is that a specific Moleskine sketchbook? And what size is the drafting pencil, 0.5mm?

It’s just the moleskine A4 sketchbook, you should be able to find it on amazon. Just make sure it’s not the watercolor sketchbook just the plain one. Also important to get the sketchbook and not the notebook, people commonly accidentally buy the notebook and end up with very thin paper ❤️
