It would be a brutal mechanic for the players, but Alexandrite’s adaptation is so well narrated that it would be cool to pay it off if when they meet her prime form she gets +1 to AC every time she is is hit with an attack, and/or +1 to saving throws every time she fails a save. Maybe even +1d2 Or +1d3 depending on some balance testing. I’m sure Murph will come up with something even better, but as a DM I’m definitely appreciating all the groundwork he’s laying for her adaptation to really escalate as she evolves He really deserves infinite praise for all of the character work and worldbuilding, and all of these antagonists are so world class that they’re pretty solid evidence that NADDPOD could easily be the best D&D ever recorded
