this is painful to listen to. a couple bad features does not make rangers a worse class, they're the highest DPR martial (gloomstalker makes that easy but hunter and swarmkeeper are both strong) regardless of those ribbon features. The really confusing thing about Frogson/Holmes is that it sounded like he said "frogs into your homes", and even with him repeating it, I couldn't parse that sentence.

So it turns out that this girl I went to university with had, like me, read Animorphs as a kid. Someone had spoiled that Rachel dies to me and I told her (I didn't care, not like I'll necessarily finish the series in my 30s), but she got really upset that I spoiled this, even though she hadn't read one of their books in like a decade 😅
