This kind of reminds of that little place called Bahumia

This game sort of reminds me of Onitama. Maybe look into that board game to refine the play of this spectacular mini game.

The strategy makes so much sense now. I nerd-saw the turns play out and yes, there was no other way. Beautifully played.

I was thinking about a couple minor tweaks to make this game a bit more robust. Here are my ideas because nobody asked and i'm wasting time at work: - Add one more column so there are three columns instead of two. - Give each player 3 action points per turn which they can use to either Move or Attack with any of their models in any order. - Swap the dragons to only moving one space at a time and spreading their damage across all adjacent models (if an 8 was rolled for damage and there are two enemies in adjacent spaces, those enemies would take 4 damage each) - Change the dragon movement to have a chance (perhaps a 1 on a d4) to pursue the other player's closest target instead of the closest target to the dragon. This would help with dragons focusing down the closest army and simply wiping them out. - Swap the giants to 2d4 instead of 1d8 for a bit more consistently powerful attacks. - When a model makes an attack, any additional allied models in contact with the model being attacked adds 1d3 of additional damage.
