Hello everyone, here is this month's animation featuring Ninomae Ina'nis from Hololive EN!

It has certainly been a while since we've seen a Hololive vtuber up here, but with this one we are now up to 4 out of 5 from myth. Out of all the vtubers I definitely think Hololive is my favorite to draw since they all have really interesting character designs which make it much easier to come up with some kind of unique setting. I always try to make each animation unique from previous ones, whether through the setting, pose, or outfit (or a combination of all three) since I think people would eventually get bored of seeing me draw stock anime schoolgirl #72 in pose #3. The more wild the character lore or design, the easier it is to get creative with that sort of thing.

In any case, for this animation in particular I sort of had two routes I could go in my mind, either the eldritch aesthetic or the Japanese aesthetic since it seems to me that Ina's design combines both. I chose not to go with eldritch since that seemed sort of dark fantasy and I've done a few of those before, namely Mori and Ranni. Then I remembered that scene from Demon Slayer with the wisteria trees out of the blue and I thought it would be cool to have the animation set in some shrine sort of setting under a wisteria tree, since the purple leaves do compliment Ina's character design. I'm really happy with how it turned out, especially the colors! Ina's outfit was also pretty complicated to animate and wasn't turning out very well so I decided to have her just wearing part of it (namely the stocking and arm stocking? since they matched the theme of the background)

I also tried a bit of a weird angle for the close up shot. I wasn't sure how it would turn out but I actually ended up really liking it! It was especially interesting to animate the climax scene from that angle. I guess we'll just call that an unfortunate POV for our camera guy XD.
