New OC concept - some sketches (Patreon)

Hi everyone, a slightly different post than usual today.

I've had an idea kicking around for a while now for an animation I'd like to create. Anyone who's been around long enough might remember that I had an animation I was working on a long time ago. I stopped working on that one for a few reasons, but to summarize, I didn't really plan it well enough and just didn't really have a solid idea overall on what exactly it was supposed to be about. I mainly just had an oc that I came up with and wanted to make something centered around it.

I've wanted to revisit the idea of making oc for a little while now and have been working on some concepts and ideas in my free time. I have a rough idea for the plot, and a handful of other media I'm drawing inspiration from, but it's still in the very early stages at the moment and haven't really put it to paper yet. I've mainly just been trying to come up with a character design for the story. It's not done yet, and I plan to continue refining the design, but I think I've finally settled on a theme and direction for the character concept, so I've put together a sheet with the main design that I have so far.

I've also put together another sheet compiling all of the sketches and designs I've worked on leading up to this, so you can get an idea of how the design has progressed over time.

I'll probably be moving on to the storyboard now and maybe fleshing out the setting as well as designs for other characters that will appear in the story. There won't be a schedule for any of this yet as I'm mainly working on this whenever I need a break from working on the usual content or am struck with inspiration but I'll try to stream at least some of it now that I've shown off what I am working on.

I'll try not to abandon this project like the last one though lol.
