Post your homework HERE : https://community.scottpauljohnson.com/t/live-july-22-week-3-create-your-own-strumming-patterns/292/1

Hi Everyone!

Thanks again for being here. I'm so so grateful for YOU. Yes you. I hope you're enjoying your time here and I hope you feel excited to pick up your guitar every day.

This "live!" is the third week of chord progression homework. If you've just joined, here are the links to the last two weeks of chord progression homework. We're gently building layers of complexity for each week of homework, so I'd recommend watching week one and week two!

Week one: https://www.patreon.com/posts/39112891

Week two: https://www.patreon.com/posts/tune-in-today-at-39334605

If you can't make it in real time, you'll be able to watch it later!

Each Wednesday, I'll give updates about what lessons are coming up, give out homework based on the monthly theme, clear up confusion about the previous week's homework, and open up a live Q&A session - first about the homework, then about whatever!

The lessons I'm making here are not designed to be watched one time. They are designed to really spend time getting to know and understand the concepts. In some cases, the videos here are pure reference material for future lessons on a variety of topics! These weekly livestreams will be the a way to help you use and have fun with the lessons and courses I'm producing.

See you there!

Hey Scott, happy to be here! I signed up a couple weeks ago but have been busy and haven't started on your homework series yet. I think it's a great idea and I look forward to participating.

I really enjoyed this live session. I learned a ton. It definitely cleared up some of my questions from week 2 homework, and the secondary dominance stuff was super interesting. If you haven't heard it you should check out Billy Strings covering that Bob Dillon song you were talking about. I like when you show how these concepts are used within songs like that pixies track. Also, you had my last name right with the hard A sound like in "paid".

I didn’t mind the length of this at all! Really fun - learnt loads. Cheers.
