A quick note in case people were also looking at recording. The Scarlett interfaces are bundled with the Pro Tools software, so you don’t have buy both separately for more cost (which I nearly did)

I was looking at getting an interface, but realized I could plug my Boss Katana 50 right into a DAW via USB. Not sure if the conversion is any good, but I probably wouldn't be able to tell at this point anyway. I am also going to copy you and get a Korg Microkey. I read a lot of reviews for comparable small midi keyboards, and it seems to hold up well.

Thank you for answering my question. Amazing! My same setup. Boss Katana 50 into my DAW via USB Logic Pro X (not Pro Tools old school brain mistake) and waiting for my new Korg Microkey to arrive.

Speaking of gear - what is the model of your Martin acoustic? It’s a nice size- not so large and sounds sweet.
