Jordan: "At first Marco died and we asked what happened? And then we learned that Annie took his ODM gear, later on we saw that Annie, Berthold and Reiner were all watching him getting eaten, and now we see that they were all 3 responsible for his death but they had no choice as warriors." SPOT ON!!! It is basically the same scene cut in 4 different moments in the show, slowly and progressively revealing things until we get the full picture. This is what we mean when we say every single question will be answered, certain answers will be straight forward, but most definitive answers come with a combination of all the little stuff we have seen, heard and learned until the puzzle gets fully assembled. Once again R.I.P to Marco, u were a real one

The truth about Marco's death finally revealed.. even tho I saw that scene many times before but its still really difficult to watch every time.. His screams are so painful 😢 what a horrible way to die..💔 Marco would have been one of the smartest characters in AOT if he had lived longer... Berthold was ruthless and scary in this episode.. he even kicked frikkin Mikasa away! So excited that you guys are finally introduced with the Colossal's nuclear transformation 🔥 and the Beast titan now has a name. Also I believe our boy Reiny has 10 lives.. maybe these are the episodes where he got his famous nickname from the fandom 😅 There are more scouts alive on the other side of the wall where Levi is dealing with the smaller titans. Only Hange's squad seems to have been wiped out where Eren and his friends are :(( R.I.P

I guess the problem i have with RnB and Annie philosophy is why kill everyone though no one did anything wrong? Who is the enemy here? The real enemy? Why is Reiner and Bertholdt holding on to the word warrior? Because to me it does not negate the harm they caused so many people. Annie as well. Why does the Beast Titan want to stop this cursed history? What does he know and if he truly wanted to why not TELL THE TRUTH?! WTH? It's agitating because this could all be avoided if everyone just told the truth and if its not that simple then say so and explain it. How are the humans the real enemies if you don't warn them? Huh?! The Beast Titan to me is full of contradictions. However, I will wait until the truth is shown because I am so confused as to why telling the truth is not the most simple option. But I choose to understand because I feel like it is more to it. Also I have to understand, I don't think it would be easy if I was in their position. Also another thing to add, Reiner all of a sudden forgetting his wrong deeds makes me think his thoughts succumb to whoever was the original armoured Titan. Just a theory.

It seems everyone really wants the next episodes released together but remember these guys are watching 3 different series in sub and then rewatching on their own time in dub as well as releasing a minimum of 3 reactions per week on their BTS channel. They have taken the weekend off for a short trip. They have lives, jobs, etc and I don’t want them to burn themselves out because they don’t do these reactions half assed like some reactors do. They are releasing these 6 days a week as it is, so can we cut them some slack please 🙏

I agree that we should let them have rest. They work TOO hard and give us great content as one of the magum opus reactors, they need to have rest to keep up their legendary reactions. I understand how everyone feels too. It's rare to find reactors that truly care about the story. And when you do, you don't want them to stop or you want them to do something as you have painted it. But hopefully people know that we will still get the best from them and that no matter what structure they do, the results will still be rewarding!

First time watcher here. I’m with you Jordan, my girl Hange can’t be dead right? I know she is cuz there’s no way they could’ve survived that and it quickly showed them getting eviscerated. Man I’m just thinking about Hange like not her. I remember at first she was a character who just was there for me but I wasn’t attached to her yet. Then I just found myself liking her more and more. That’s my girl! I knew we would lose people but I wasn’t thinking it would be Hange and Moblit. We probably bouta lose even more too. Anyways, can’t wait for the next one. Wait so much happened this episode I completely forgot to talk about other stuff lol. So I had to come back. First, that scene with Marco was hard to watch. The amount of cruelty. That hurt to see. Also, the beast Titan being Annie’s dad makes so much sense. I’d be surprised if that turned out not being the case but I think it is. When Jordan said that I was like ‘waittt u might be right’.

Here is a quick clarification: When Jean said "we're the only ones alive," he meant that everyone who went inside the wall to fight Reiner is dead. He's not talking about the ones who went outside the wall, including Levi, to fight the pure titan and defend the horses.

the colossal has 2 ways to spawn his titan. one is in a way that is more precise that still has a blast but nothing as destructive as the nuke we saw. the second way is the colossal can use its transformation like an explosion that releases significantly more energy

*first time watcher* 🫢🥺😣 Laugh or cry, Jordan? Numb myself, Jared? *deep breaths* ~ Had to rewatch this ep on Netflix cos’ the screen was blocked at times ~ We finally got to see what happened to Marco. I know we had hints but this dropped out of nowhere. I shouldnt be too surprised at this point, but still am. Didnt realise I was holding my chest until he died. Sorry, murdered. To me at least, I associated the word ‘brutal’ to titans eating humans, but this.. the ones you considered friends or comrades leaving you to die cos’ you were in the wrong place at the wrong time, was brutal. But I have to move on, so my thoughts on the rest of the ep. There was A LOT.. 1. “..give up your armor to another warrior”- making a guess that wherever they came from, the power of the Titans could be ‘given’ to chosen warriors, or to whoever comes out strongest among competition. Mindful that we have seen Annie strenuously training everyday in her flashbacks. 2. “..an end to this cursed history”- could mean the history of how ‘warriors’ were created, or related to the power of the Titans, or whoever’s been making them do this, or none. 3. A name to the face, Zeke aka Beast aka War Chief. His face is a little clearer now. I want to hold off saying anything else, just to see if Im right or wrong. 4. That quadruped Titan speaks, just like the Beast. 5. Theres a metal sound when R tapped his left chest pocket. Dont know what that is. 6. R is indeed alive, despite what they blew off. “..transferred his consciousness throughout his whole nervous system? But that was a last resort.”- First in his human body, then human to Titan body? Both times, it happened similarly (from head to rest of the body). Possibly some sort of defense mechanism to stay alive in order to regenerate? But this is some advanced level stuff I hope it’ll be explained later. 7. B hiding in one of the barrels and being thrown- crazy strategy, but effective nonetheless. So whats in the other barrel? 8. Armin’s call for negotiation somewhat reflects Marco’s last words for a chance to talk 😔. But Armin and B, both rather similar in some ways, intelligent beings, figuring each other out. *Sigh* is this possibly just two sides of the same coin? I dont know man.. we dont know much about the other world.. 9. Mikasa comin in for the kill and protecting Armin was 🔥. B held his own (surprising but not so too), though he lost a ear. 10. I do pray that Hange and team were able to shield themselves somehow. But now’s Levi squad vs C, oh boy. And we see the Beast scratching its ear, just like what he did in human form 🤦‍♀️ The other characters were amazing, awesome animation and music. I probably missed a lot, and Im still tramatized about that beginning. Maybe I should just stop writing so much and just let the rest of the eps hit me lol 💜🙏🏻

The next 3 episodes are why this show is cemented as one of the best anime of all time in my opinion. And I couldn't not get goosebumps at Bert's transformation. They build up the tension so well, music is a 10/10 and its so cool overall. Like the mf'ing colossal is just showering Shiganshina in debris I'd be lying if I was saying that wasn't the coolest shit I've ever seen

Hi Jared + Jordan! (in no particular order haha) This is my first time commenting, so here goes! I stumbled upon your first bts reaction 2 years ago and have been hooked ever since. I've always been too shy to comment and have always been a silent supporter. Now, subscribed to both your Army Gold and Otaku Gold Patreons, I can truly say from the bottom of my heart that it has been well worth the subscription! Within those two years, I've gone through so many different milestones/moments in my own life. I've fallen in love for the first time, felt my first heart break, moved out of my family home, adjusted to being on my own, gone to therapy for the first time, went on my first solo trip etc. In the midst of these moments, the highs and the lows, something that has kept me going was the consistency that you two brought into my life. During times when living each day became difficult to bear, I found myself waking up to watch your videos and laughing out loud/smiling even when I thought it'd be the last thing I wanted to do. (imagine, crying from a broken heart but also laughing out loud at the same time? is that normal?). I'm sure a lot of your viewers feel that way towards you guys. We're all humans just going through human things/emotions, but when you're met with two individuals who exude such warm and inviting energy, sometimes it's exactly what you need to make life feel a little lighter. I couldn't have made it through without you guys. And for that, I am truly grateful. Seeing your channel and Patreons blossom organically into what it is today has been such a treat. The community built by you and your viewers is such a beautiful thing to witness. I'm sure you both had doubts, worries, stresses, tiring days that made you question whether or not to keep going when you first started out. But I, and along with all of your viewers (I'm sure) are so glad you guys chose to keep going. Thank you for creating reactions that emanate such great energy and authenticity. You've both been so vulnerable in your own unique ways and have always shown such grace and mindfulness when it comes to others/different forms of art. OH MY GOODNESS.. So I'm rewatching this episode's reaction again and I just noticed Reiner saying in the first scene that he "might have to do something with his titan" probably talking about stopping Eren from plugging the wall right before Marco catches them.. which means if Marco hadn't been there to startle Reiner and Bert.. the Armored Titan would have probably appeared to destroy the wall and fight super Eren!?!?

Hi everyone! First time commenting, but I've been quietly watching on Patreon since season 1. Armin echoing the same sentiment Marco had as R+B+A left him to die always gives me chills. They reacted so quickly, they didn't even give him the chance to talk! And for Armin in the current situation, I'm sure asking to talk with Bertholdt is a choice that comes from many motivations - the desperation of the fight as a whole, knowing Bertholdt's power as the Colossal is so tough to go up against, the fear of what it would mean to lose, etc. But I like to think it's also coming from a thought that keeps getting more concrete and complicated every time we get a look into Reiner or Bertholdt or Annie - that Titans are people. And people could, and should, talk things out. Armin seems to still hold at least a little bit of hope that the people who were once his comrades can help him understand at all why this fight is happening and to me, it's part of what makes him a great leader.
