It didn’t hit me until now that it really took 15 episodes to get to their first official match as a team. It felt like a long time to get here but it’s totally relatable. When we’re working towards something we want, it’s going to take some time. These last episodes leading up to the Inter-high really showcased what it means to “trust the process”. In and out of practice, these guys were overcoming the limits they set on themselves, finding new ways to grow and now we get to see how it all works out! So excited for you guys to watch these matches! It’s game time! Let’s gooooo, next episode!!!! 🙌🏽🏐

Alright now you have seen some of the sassiness of Suga at the beginning of the episode (do you remember my comment back on episode 9 about Suga being chaotic and having sass which you read during your reaction to episodes 10 & 11) this is only just the beginning Also did you guys notice that everyone was shocked at Hinata's spike there at the end except for Oikawa who was the only one smiling in anticipation and amazement

in the dub, if i remember correctly, one of the reactions to asahi was “damn that’s a grown ass man!” or something along those lines. it was hysterical! are you guys watching along in dub as well like you do for attack on titan? if so what do you think of the comedic values of it? it truly captures what it’s like to be around high school boys in my opinion.

Air Salonpas = Icy Hot (the nostalgic gym smell for Hinata). Something to notice as a difference in tradition and culture: before and after matches, the players line up in numerical order. Also notice on the uniforms, the team captain’s uniform number is underscored. A little trivia fun: Many brand names are spoofed in anime. Notice the bare foot logo found on Karasuno’s warmup jackets and uniforms. Below or next to the barefoot image are the letters “ICS.” Foot in Japanese is “ashi.” Combine “ashi” + ICS = and you get a play on the sportswear brand ASCIS. Karasuno’s shoes also spoof the ASICS logo.

to me the shoes being mismatched for Karsuno and their opponent s all matching symbolizes two things. First: that Karasuno is yes a team but they also focus on individuality that helps build the team stronger while other teams focus on the team as a whole (blending in). And Second: That karasuno is still trying to find it's footing as a legetiment and whole team. Remember this is still the first season, they are still trying to figure out what works for them and what doesn't. compared to other teams who've been together longer and who've even if they haven't they have their own systems that they've used for generations that they continue to use and have it work for them... Karasuno is still trying to find their groove!

I love these reactions ! Seeing people understand the LEVELS of this series is what it’s all about ! Every fan makes their way back to rewatching this series and I hope when you guys do you check out the English dub ! 😭 the jokes and ad-libs just hit a litttle different. The voice actors did a great job getting their personality to show in their voice 🙏🏻
