Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1)  Whispers Bell  — A small handbell in the shape of a doll with a skeletal face. You can use an action to expend a charge to cast the suggestion spell on a single target. Undead and fiends have disadvantage against the effect.

2)  Brassblown Buckler  — This brass horn has been twisted into a circular shield. You are proficient with it even if you aren't proficient with shields. You can expend a Bardic Inspiration to emit a sonic blast, all creatures with range must make a Constitution saving throw or take thunder damage equal to a number of your Bardic Inspiration die and become deafened.

3)  Foot Wraps of the Glacier Wanderer  — Foot wraps for a monk that give you cold resistance and make your unarmed strikes with your feet deal additional cold damage. You can spend ki points to cast the water walk on yourself.

4)  Staff of Druid’s Scourge  — This thorny, iron staff is kills and converts plant life into iron ore, and is considered to be under the effects of the shillelagh cantrip. It has charges that can be used to cast various nature spells. There is a chance that using its last charge causes it to explode, returning life to the area around it.

5)  White Dragonmetal Lance  — A lance made in the likeness of a white dragon. It increases the amount of cold damage you deal while holding it, and uses charges to passively deal cold damage to creatures hit by the weapon. You can also use charges to freeze creatures you hit, or create sheets of ice on which you can escape from harm.

6)  Silvercloud Bomb  — A silver, draconic bomb that explodes into a magical mist that behaves like a solid. You can use the mist to craft all sorts of solid shapes, like walls, sculptures, and more. A creature within the area of the bomb can attempt to escape its area with a successful save. Otherwise, it's trapped within the area.

7)  Tuning Sword  — This shortsword resembles a tuning fork that can resonate with your voice and can be used as a spellcasting focus. You gain a bonus to your attack and damage rolls made with this weapon and targets hit with it take extra thunder damage. Additionally, you gain a bonus to the saving throw DC of your bard spells and you can add your Charisma modifier to an ally's Bardic Inspiration roll.
