Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1)  Inferno Hammer  — This hammer, forged with elemental fire, bursts with flame on every strike. You gain a bonus to attack and damage rolls and deal extra fire damage with each hit. You can overcharge the hammer to deal higher fire damage, however you take half the amount of damage dealt.

2)  Starnight Dagger  — An obsidian dagger that glows with starlight. When you hit a creature using this weapon, you can expend a charge to prevent that creature from casting low-level spells for 1 minute.

3)  Deep Sea-mitar  — This weapon is made of a petrified octopus tentacle, sharpened to a fine edge and you gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls. While attuned, you gain a swimming speed, can breathe water, and can communicate with beasts that breathe water. You can expend its charges to cast various water related spells. Additionally, the weapon can allow you to charm a creature or create a sphere of water to contain a Large or smaller target.

4)  Snow Siren’s Flute  — A flute once used by a siren living in a frigid climate. While attuned, you know ray of frost. You can play a tune on the flute to charm nearby creatures, causing them to move closer to you and take cold damage when close enough to you.

5)  Dune Spurs  — While wearing these spurs you and your mount can withstand temperatures as hot as 200 degrees Fahrenheit. You can cast the find steed spell at will and your summoned mount is has the elemental creature type.

6)  Fūjin Reactor  — A mechanical cylinder holding the essence of a powerful wind spirit that whirs with the sound of many fans. This cylinder has different configurations that allow you to perform different actions, including: moving a number of feet when you cast a spell and pushing creatures away, create spears of wind and propel them at creatures within range, or summon a wind spirit for 1 minute.

7)  Surface Seeker  — A Small, magical minecart with a lamp on its front. When you fill it with valuables while in a cave, it makes a slow trek to the surface of the cave, showing you the safest route to travel.
