Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1)  Armor of the Protector  — A set of armor for paladins that allows them to expend charges to grant nearby creatures, other than themselves, a bonus to their AC equal to their Charisma score when the creature is hit by an attack.

2)  Reflection Arms  — These mirrored glass armaments made for a monk grant a bonus to your AC. You also gain advantage on saving throws against spells and can use your Deflect Missiles against ranged spell attacks, potentially allowing you to cast the spell back at the original caster.

3)  High-Heartening Harp  — A fey harp that grant creatures bardic inspiration when you use your Song of Rest. This special inspiration die lasts for 1 hour, and is doubled if used on Charisma or Wisdom checks, or a saving throw against the charmed or frightened conditions

4)  Measure of Martial Mastery  — This ornate spatha has a long white cloth trailing from it, which forms to represent your martial training and tradition. You gain various benefits depending on your class, such as: using your Cunnning Action feature to make an additional attack, using this weapon with your Flurry of Blows feature, or shoving a creature and immediately following with an attack with this weapon.

5)  Flail of the Wild Elements  — This flail has been enchanted to harness surges of chaos. When you enter a rage, you roll a die to determine which damage type the flail deals and the effect the target suffers if you hit it twice on the same turn, such as: reduced movement speed, unable to take reactions, or being deafened.

6)  Trumpet of Bardic Transposition  — A trumpet with an Ethereal sheen. When played to grant a Bardic Inspiration die to an ally, you can choose to swap places with that creature, provided that it's willing. Otherwise, you can cast dimension door with the trumpet once a day.

7)  Everburning Pinecone  — This small pinecone was burned when a never-ending flame touched a magical forest. It sheds bright light which can be reduced or increased, and you gain resistance to fire damage. Additionally you deal extra fire damage while in your Wild Shape. You can expend charges to cast various fire-based spells.
