Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1)  Blade of Cold Iron  — A dwarven champion's axe, forged to battle fey. You gain a bonus to attack and damage with it, and you have advantage against charms and enchantments. It can also deal extra damage against fey creatures and cast dispel magic at 5th level to target enchantment and illusion spells.

2)  Rainbringer's Tithe Basket  — This basket is used to collect offerings to be made to spirits. When there is sufficient gold in the basket, your weapon attacks deal an additional slashing damage as blades of water surround your weapons. You can also cast the create food and water spell from the basket. A creature that removes money from it gains a curse that makes them vulnerable to cold damage, fearful of rain, and spoils any magically created food.

3)  Lily Sword  — Cultivated by expert elvish gardeners, this flower has a long, razor-sharp stem that acts as a longsword with the finesse property, and a bonus to attack and damage rolls. The sword has charges that can be used to cast various plant related spells. If you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with this sword, flowers sprout around it after 1 hour.

4)  3 Little Pigs  — Three small pig figurines, each made of straw, wood, and stone. You can toss a figurine onto the ground and cause it to transform into a larger version depending on the type used: The straw figurine explodes into a cloud of straw and dust, the wood figurine protects against ranged attackers, and the stone figurine can charge through creatures and doors.

5)  Drowsebloom  — The petals of this flower shift when examined closely and draw your gaze in. You can crush this flower's petals to cast the hypnotic pattern spell. A creature that is charmed for the full duration has the suggestion spell cast on them.

6)  Cymrith  — A sentient gold plated rapier with a pommel shaped like a red rose. You can use your Charisma for attack and damage with this weapon, which deals additional psychic damage. You can channel fey magic into your strikes to cause a hit target to be charmed by you.

7)  The Forgotten Music Box  — A cursed music box that can cause creatures who hear it to become frightened. If the box is damaged, the last creature who turned the crank is beset by a nightmare that prevents long rest.
