Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1)  Field Healer's Pauldron  — This pauldron bears a faded healer's emblem and holds up a rugged shoulder cape. When you roll a 1 or 2 on a die to restore hit points to a creature you can reroll the die and must use the new roll. Additionally, once on your turn when you restore hit points to a creature using a spell of 1st level or higher, you can grant that creature the benefits of the bless spell.

2)  Talisman of Endurance  — This talisman can be used as a reaction whenever you fail a Constitution saving throw to succeed instead.

3)  Scroll of the True Self  — A scroll to make your outer appearance match your inner one. You can use the scroll to cast the alter self spell using the Change Appearance option. When the spell ends the appearance becomes permanent.

4)  Box of Toothpikes  — This box of magical toothpicks can be turned into a javelin, spear, or pike when drawn from their box and crumble into splinters after 1 hour. The box regains expended toothpicks at dawn.

5)  Pocket Barman  — A small figurine of a barman at a tavern bar, big enough to hold a single drink. You can name a drink and place payment on the bar to magically create the desired drink. The barman may have more fantastical options available. There is a chance potions can also be purchased in limited quantities, removing it from the barman's limited stock.

6)  Wretched Ring  — This cursed ring, carved of blackened bone, carries a sense of dread within it. You gain resistance to necrotic damage and can expend the ring's charges for various properties such as: transforming into a shadow, attempt to take control of an undead creature, or raise a corpse from the grave.

7)  Spirit Weaver  — A net that shimmers with a soft, ghostly light. You can wear this net as a cloak to prevent creatures with the Incorporeal Movement trait from moving through your space. If a creature restrained by the net has the Incorporeal Movement trait it can't use it until it is freed.
