Thanks for your patience with this release from last month, heroes! I hope it was worth the wait: I sure think it is!

Whether carrying goods from town to town, escorting nobility, or hiding dark secrets, caravans offer a unique opportunity for roleplaying, exploration, and combat opportunities for players on the road to their next destination. The rules presented below offer a way to generate unlimited caravans in your campaign to make each highway or dirt road different from the last.

Parties traveling between locations on their adventures can be boring, or filled with routine campsites and run-of-the-mill beasts and baddies. Use these rules to randomly generate a vast array of memorable caravans and groups that are traveling the same roads as you are, but on their own journeys. Encounter merchants, royalty, zoos, theater companies, artificers with...death rays? And so, so many more. There's no telling what you'll find out on the open road, but these rules will certainly help you figure it out quickly and easily.

The subclass for the setting is the new Bard college: the College of Four Suits! Change fate itself with your magic using actual playing cards to enact your various abilities. Hurl magic-powered cards at your enemies (get your Gambit on!), grant temporary hit points to your allies, and play royal face cards to command other creatures! This subclass has gone through some super fun rounds of playtesting, and I'm sure you'll have a great time with it!

Speaking of the subclass, here's a reminder that we also have official subclass playtest sessions on the Discord! So please feel welcome to sign up for them and get early looks and hands-on time with them! As always, further revisions will be made here with published updates as they're released!

I assume that the page numbers should have started with 1 instead of 3 and we are not missing two pages.

For the Ace feature of the College of Four Suits, does the bullet about being able to add your Charisma modifier to the damage dealt only work if all of the cards used are black or if any of them are black?

If the Trick is considered black in that case. So if you throw a pair of sixes and one is red and one is black and choose to have the trick deal damage, that'd add your CHA bonus to it!
