Heroic Ideas — Choose 2 community item ideas to be made! (Patreon)

Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1)  Risa the Ardent's Hammer  — A warhammer that once belonged to a warrior heroine capable of withstanding powerful attacks. You can use a reaction while holding it to expend its charges and reduce the damage taken by an ally of your choice within range.

2)  Rune-Marked Bracers  — A pair of stone bracers carved with 5 runes along their length. You gain a bonus to your AC and can use your reaction when a creature attacks you to activate one of the runes, such as:  the target must succeed on a saving throw or take damage and damage over time, have its speed reduced until the start of your next turn, become charmed by you, or be restrained.

3)  Punch  — A potion that enhances your unarmed strikes and makes them especially strong against objects and structures. The rare version allows you to release an even stronger strike that also pushes the target.

4)  Ballroom Breaker  — An elegant ballroom mask that grants a bonus to Charisma (Persuasion) checks made between dusk and dawn, and can be used to magically create and wear a formal outfit at any time.

5)  Quill of Redaction  — A pen that can be used to conceal nonmagical text to all but creatures with truesight. Once per day hile holding the pen, you can cast the modify memory spell, writing down the new memory with the pen.

6)  Tapestry Cloak  — A cloak that you can flourish while standing against a solid surface to transform yourself into a hung tapestry or laid out rug. You can choose the appearance of the tapestry or rug.

7)  Will and Way  — A paired feather brooch and signet ring, that when worn together grant advantage on Charisma (Deception) and Wisdom (Insight) checks. The brooch can be transformed into a quill, which provides a bonus to creating forgeries. The ring can be used to store one object in an extradimensional space or retrieve it.
