Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Will and Way — A paired feather brooch and signet ring, that when worn together grant advantage on Charisma (Deception) and Wisdom (Insight) checks. The brooch can be transformed into a quill, which provides a bonus to creating forgeries. The ring can be used to store one object in an extradimensional space or retrieve it.

2)  Lenses of Shared Vision  — Two pairs of spectacles that are linked together. Your eyes resemble the eyes of the creature wearing the other pair of spectacles while wearing these, and can use a bonus action to see through their eyes, increasing the distance you can use this effect while attuned.

3)  Spiker and Striker  — A magically linked warhammer and dagger that were once construction equipment. While using these weapons together, the warhammer gains the light property. When you hit a creature with the dagger and then the warhammer, you can strike the dagger with the hammer to deal extra damage.

4)  Friend and Foe  — A pair of powerful light hammers named friend and foe that deal bonus damage and have charges which are used to charm or frighten targets struck by them, respectively. While attuned, their attack and damage bonuses increase, as does the DC for their effects, and you gain benefits to attacks against creatures charmed or frightened of you as a result of the hammers' properties.

5) Numat's Universal Receiver — A wooden carrying case that can unfold into an office. The case is linked to a number of frames that can you used to miniaturize objects and place them into the case, appearing on shelves when the case transforms.

6) Bonded Sparks — A pair of purple rings, linked together by the threads of magic. If two spellcasters each attune to a ring they can spend charges to gain knowledge of the others' spells while within range.

7) Signature of the Subtle Sommelier — A pair of glasses linked with a magic wine bottle. The wine in the bottle becomes invisible ink after a period of time and can only be seen when looking through the glasses.
