Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1)  Quick Field Fix  — These linen bandages have a faintly glowing silver thread that runs through their length. Using an action, you can instantly stabilize a creature.

2)  Owlbear Blood Mead  — This red honey mead isn’t actually made from owlbear, but grants the drinker a bonus to Perception checks that rely on sight for one minute. An uncommon variant of the drink lasts for 1 hour and grants an additional bonus of Perception checks that rely on smell. You also fall under the alter self spell, granting you owlbear claws and a thick coat of feathers for the duration.

3)  Causticoal Pickaxe  — This warpick is tainted by volatile and impure coal it once mined. Whenever you score a critical hit, it deals bonus acid damage and gains an attack bonus. After enough total critical hits with this warpick, it explodes, dealing acid damage to nearby creatures and destroying the pickaxe.

4)  Causticoal Mitts  — Tainted by volatile and impure coal, these hide gloves always smell acrid and leave harmless soot spots on anything they touch. While wearing the gloves, you take reduced acid damage and your unarmed strikes deal additional acid damage. In addition, you can burrow a hole into any material using the gloves.

5)  Sovereignseed Messenger  — A leather messenger bag embroidered with forest imagery. It functions like a bag of holding and you gain other various benefits depending on which seed you pull from the bag, such as: creating a wall of bamboo or duplicating the effects of the entangle spell.

6)  Brawl Stool  — A bar stool that can transform into a club and shield, using the chair's legs as a club and seat as the shield. While sitting on the stool, you have advantage on saving throws against becoming poisoned, and any effect of a poison is suppressed while you sit.

7)  Grimoire of the Green Arts  — A leather book that smells of the many herbs and flowers having been pressed between its pages over the years. While attuned to the book a wizard can learn spells from the druid spell list. In addition, the book has charges that can be used to replace a prepared spell with another or to transform into a beast.
