Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1. Pipes of the Seamount — A magical panflute that can be used to create different kinds of superheated effects, such as a cloud of boiling steam, a plume of smog, or a line of volcanic fire.
2. Ballroom Breaker — An elegant ballroom mask that grants a bonus to Charisma (Persuasion) checks made between dawn and dusk, and can be used to magically create and wear a formal outfit during the same time.
3. Mourningsteel Demi-Gauntlet — A serrated gauntlet crafted from Mourningsteel that acts as an arcane focus and is imbued with the ability to cast empowered necromantic spells and life-draining strikes.
4. Phoenix Breast — A golden breastplate with the design of a majestic Phoenix. It confers fire resistance and the ability to occasionally defy death.
5. Wavebender's Surfboard — A tall, +1 shield that's covered in traditional Polynesian markings that can be stood on in the water as a surfboard, allowing it to ferry you across water with increased speed.
6. Wand of the Dragon Queen —  A five-headed wand that can unleash potent energies by channeling all five types of chromatic dragons. It can also store a portion of elemental energy that is used against you.
7. Spirit Talker’s Board — This wooden board and planchette aid in communicating with the dead for their advice, though there’s no guarantee that the spirit reaching out is the intended one.
