Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Wraps of the Restless — A set of mummy-like arm wraps that can be used as a whip with the light property or to spray sand in a cone that blinds and withers creatures within the area.

2) Sergeant Maver's Spear — A weighty spear wielded by countless militias. It deals extra piercing damage on a hit, and when you use it to hit a creature with a readied action, its speed is reduced to 0.

3) Nettle of Mettle — An edible plant that tastes wonderfully herbal, but poisons you for 1 minute. Despite being poisoned, you gain a myriad of benefits that strengthen your attacks and resolve.

4) Coral Hammer — A large, colorful hammer that deals piercing damage. When you score a critical hit with it, you can roll additional damage dice once per day, or again if you submerge it in salt water.

5) Nightstrider Mask — A ballroom mask that glimmers with starlight. While wearing it, you can project a star chart of the heavens around you, and you can't be lost while outside at night.

6) Bandolier of Elements — A bandolier containing a magical throwing knife. You can use a bonus action to throw it at a target, dealing a random elemental damage type on a hit before reappearing in the bandolier.

7) Medical Sling — A magical medic's sling that can be used as both a weapon and as a means of healing during a short rest. While wearing it, you can regain additional hit points whenever you expend a Hit Die.

Thanks to everyone who submitted item ideas and voted for them this week!

Keep on adventuring!
