Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Breath of Revitalizing Corruption — A magical, corroded flute that can be used to expel a cloud of noxious, withering necrotic air that deals damage to creatures caught within it and restores some of the dealt as hit points back to you.

2) Bloodmire Soulflame Lantern — A powerful, all-seeing lantern that's fueled with blood. You gain a myriad of useful benefits while within the lantern's light, but at the cost of tying your own life to the lantern's continuous flame.

3) Bestial Amulet — A silver amulet whose properties and appearance can change over the course of a long rest, giving you a number of flavorful benefits to choose from based on the animal represented by the amulet at any given time.

4) Risa the Ardent's Hammer — A hammer that once belonged to a warrior heroine capable of withstanding powerful attacks. You can use a reaction while holding it to expend its charges and reduce the damage taken by an ally of your choice within range.

5) Hidden Owl's Bow — A powerful bow for Rangers made from leaves. It has a bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it, as well as the ability to cast hunter's mark at will or a handful of other useful nature-magic spells once a day each.

6) Revelry of Rest — A black bone instrument capable of altering damage types you receive when hit and turning undead creatures. An undead turned by the instrument can be destroyed if it's CR is low enough based on the number of charges you expend from it.

7) Portable Graveyard — A snowglobe containing a miniature graveyard covered in swirling mist. You can magically store a corpse within the orb to preserve it, or summon it back from the orb as an undead servant. It can hold and summon one creature at a time.

Thanks to everyone who submitted item ideas and voted for them this week!

Keep on adventuring!
