Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the 6 randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Oud of Repose — A magical instrument that allows any creature that's benefited from a bard's Song of Rest to also benefit from the bard's Jack of All Trades ability for the next hour.

2) Doombloom — A special black flower that allows you to cast the scrying spell using it as if the flower were an object related to the target you're scrying upon. Once used, the flower wilts. Using multiple of the flowers can cause necrotic damage to the user.

3) Point Cloak — A vibrant green cloak that, while worn, can disappear in a flourish and be replaced with a magical +1 rapier by speaking the cloak's command word. You can speak the word again to cause the rapier to vanish and the cloak to reappear on you.

4) Shadowscale Shroud — A set of shadowy dragon scale armor that feeds on the wearer and allows you to hide better in shadows and become temporarily invisible within darkness. You can cause the armor to grant you extra resistances once a day to all damage. 

5) Chronofragmental Talisman — A clockwork talisman that grants you the benefits of the Keen Mind feat. You can use it to describe 2 turns, instead of 1, when you take a turn. After the GM resolves both turns, you choose which one you take. Usable once every X days.

6) Blazing Blasting Bow — A crossbow that can use charges to fire a bolt of fire at a point within its range that explodes in a blinding shockwave, causing nearby creatures to make a saving throw or take radiant and thunder damage and be briefly stunned.

7) Dawn and Dusk — A +1 mace that transforms into a +1 sickle at night. Both weapons have the light property and deal extra radiant and necrotic damage, respectively. At dawn, the sickle returns to its mace form.
