Elite Workshop Day 2 — Let's make an item from an Altar! (Patreon)

Hey heroes! Let's make an item you'd find on an altar!

These are loose item ideas using on the suggestions from yesterday's direction poll. Some of these may have had their ideas adjusted or combined with other like-minded suggestions. The final product may or may not use the original wording, so these are the core of the items' functionality and flavor.

Ideas

Heavenly Chalice — A golden goblet that strengthens the power of healing potions that are drunk from it. A cleric or paladin can spend 1 minute praying over a potion in the goblet to increase its healing power, whose healing can be shared between multiple creatures.

Unholy Wraps — A set of cloths and other vestments kept draped over an altar. When an undead creature comes within X feet of it, it springs to life and attempts to restrain and smother the undead as if it were an animated rug.

Strategos Crest — A paladin's helm that lets other creatures within 10 feet of you to immediately move when you roll for initiative, and allows you to order a similarly close ally to attack instead of making an attack yourself. At 18th level, the range increases to 30 feet.
