Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the 7 randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Handful of Minutes — A small, mechanical ball that you can throw at a target or point within its range, allowing you to affect an ally with the haste spell or enemies with the slow spell, without concentrating on it. Consumable.

2) Direstone Geode — A magical greatclub made of a crystalline stalagmite with a geode at its center. Each time you hit a target and roll the maximum number on the damage die, the die size increases by one, up to a d12, when it shatters and resets.

3) Vyr's Broken Path — An elven cloak made of leaves that can be turned into a magical bow or used to sense particular creatures of your choice. The longbow can ignore cover, and has bonuses to attacks against the chosen creature type.

4) Pelt of the Waterstalker — A magical, waterproof cloak made from a unique predatory fish. While submerged in water or obscured by rain, you become invisible.

5) Soul Pendant — An amulet containing a diamond that can house a fragment of a dead creature's soul. While it has a soul, you gain certain bonuses to your Wisdom abilities and can communicate with and ask it questions it telepathically.

6) Armor of the Protector — A set of armor for paladins that allows them to expend charges to grant nearby creatures, other than themselves, a bonus to their AC equal to their Charisma score when the creature is hit by an attack.

7) My First Wand! — A wand created by a talented young mage. While holding it, your cantrips have a +1 bonus to attack rolls, and you can use the wand to cast the prestidigitation spell at will, or the magic missile spell once a day.
