Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Ideas

1) Claws of the Lycan — An amulet that grants a semblance of lycanthropy, or enhances the strength of someone already afflicted by it.

2) The Prophet's Necklace — A necklace bearing the distinct loop and loose appearance of a noose. While wearing t, you can add your proficiency bonus to death saving throws.

3) The Skeleton's Key — A magical cursed key that allows you to open doors and possess the bodies of the dead, as if by the dominate person spell, with some changes.

4) Savvy Snack — A treat made from necrotically-preserved brain matter. Eating it grants you a temporary bonus to skills you may not have, but your body may reel from sickness.

5) Spirit Cleaver — A magical cleaver for rogues that allows you to slip into the Ethereal Plane and separate a soul from its body on the Material Plane, killing a target.

6) Grasp of the Dead — Small fungal starters that grow explosively when thrown into grasping hand-like mushrooms, decaying anything they touch and slowing them to a stop.

7) Aciurgist’s Blessed Blade — A surgical paladin's blade that improves your Lay On Hands. When you use your Divine Smite, you can also inflict temporary debuffs on the target.
