This brass ear cuff hangs off the side of your ear and dangles several polished spheres of jet from fine chains. While wearing the cuff, whenever you make an ability check to climb, you can treat a d20 roll of 7 or lower as an 8.

The law-breaking denizens of the subterranean Platinum Penitentiary are left to spend their miserable lives in squalor. With only time on their hands and weights shackled to their bodies, many who seek to climb up the smooth stone walls to freedom simply fall back down to their mortal release.

A few persistent souls have managed to escape from the prison, however. These crafty escapees are given a unique place in society to give them a second chance at redemption. Where that is or what its purpose is, however, is shrouded in secrecy.
