Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the 7 randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Cold Spaulder — a pauldron that, while worn, causes anyone whom you willfully ignore to feel a cold shiver down their spine.

2) Silver Star Cane — A magical cane with a blade holstered inside. When you draw the blade, a dim light points northward.

3) Amulet of Camelspeak — A H'rethi amulet made from amber housed in a fool's gold setting. While wearing it, you can speak to camels as if  you shared a language.

4) Fibweed Potion — A clever potion brewed from a weed in the jungles of Elsath. Adding this potion to a drink makes it taste as though it's poisoned, but is actually harmless.

5) Wild Card — A simple playing card with a joker on its face side and a blank back. You can use a bonus action to change the face and back of the card to match another set of cards.

6) Mask of Mortar — A strapless mask whose appearance, from grotesque to fanciful, can be changed as an action. While wearing it, only you can easily remove it from your face.

7) Benign Beacon — A glass sculpture of a flame that magically gives off heat and light. While within 30 feet of, you count a 1 as a 2 when rolling Hit Dice from a short rest.
