Elite Workshop Day 2 — Let's make a Solar item! (Patreon)

Hey heroes! Let's make something from a solar!

These are loose item ideas using on the suggestions from yesterday's direction poll. Some of these may have had their ideas adjusted or combined with other like-minded suggestions. The final product may or may not use the original wording, so these are the core of the items' functionality and flavor.

Ideas

Solar's Feather Quill — A feather quill that acts as a spellcasting focus and grants you a bonus to Wisdom (Insight) checks when held. It has a number of charges that you can use write a name in midair. If it's an ally, it regains hit points. If it's an enemy, it must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be blinded.

Slaying Longbow — A solar's famed longbow, repurposed for mere mortal hands. It deals extra radiant damage on a hit, and when you score a critical hit with it, the target must succeed on a saving throw or be slain instantly if it has fewer than 100 hit points remaining.

Solar Tear Potion — A glimmering, celestial potion made from the tears of a mighty solar. When you drink it, you gain true sight for number of hours out to a range of 60 feet. In addition, you have resistance to necrotic damage for the duration.
