Thank you heroes for your support, as always. Because of you, we were able to smash through this Patreon goal and create this exciting new setting for your home campaign.

Nestled deep in the caverns below, the festerwood is rich with danger and untold adventure. Add this murky realm to your existing world in the Underdark or the exposed ruins of a lost civilization. Regardless of your world map, the festerwood can find its home there!

At the center of the wood is the Lightspore, a gargantuan mushroom that emits a constant glow. This light is the source of life in the forest, and has become the pillar of an ever-cycling ecosystem of life, death, and decomposition with the flora and fauna that thrive there. While unique, it's also dangerous. Spores from the Lightspore are toxic to the mind and body, making the forest itself a hazard on its own.

This document includes additional lore, encounters, tables, and ideas to help you make this new land come to life in your campaign. I hope you enjoy your adventures in the festerwood!
