Regarding $7 and $9 pledge rewards (Patreon)

Hey, heroes! Thank you all for your support. It means the world to me.

I love doing what I do, and am thrilled to do it every day. I'm ecstatic that so many of you feel the same way and want to support me in the endeavor! It is the fulfillment I need outside of my weekly 9-5 career.

While fulfilling, it is also increasingly time-consuming. I now spend 3-5 hours every day working on the project and fulfilling rewards.

I am a simple human, albeit a determined one, and have come to the realization that some of these rewards are not designed to scale with the unexpected and exciting growth of the campaign.

As a result, we will need to be scaling back some of these higher tier rewards.

Elite heroes and above will no longer be able to add their characters for flavor text opportunities. I love writing these stories, but they easily add up to an hour of time spent on an item on the days I write them, not including the time to find the right characters to use for one. When the book releases, there will be opportunities for more short stories! Keep on the lookout for that! Stories of how you actually use these items in your games will be celebrated!

Mythical and Legendary hero tiers are being combined into an Ascended hero tier. It offers the same red Discord name tag color you've come to love, and proudly displays your generous support of the campaign. There's also a new channel on Discord just for you. In terms of digital and physical rewards, it offers the same benefits as the $7 Elite tier. It's a sign of support and cosmetic flair for all your new internet friends to see.

You will need to change your tier to Ascended Hero in order to gain its Discord benefits. Sorry about the hassle - this will be a one-time thing!

Legendary heroes will have the opportunity to work with me to suggest an item direction. These will be rolled out over the coming weeks.

Mythical heroes will get their (incredibly one-of-a-kind) cards in the mail this month.
