Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Thunder Bolt — A crossbow bolt infused with the power of thunder. It emits a thunderous boom when fired and when you hit a creature, the target and all other creatures within range take thunder damage instead of the weapon's normal damage. Additionally, creatures in the area must succeed on a saving throw or be deafened.

2) Mimiciature — This tiny artificially created pet mimic can be bribed with treats to turn into simple tiny objects such as a fish hook, vial, or a ring, as well as consumable items such as chalk though can't be used or consumed in this manner. In addition, it can perfectly copy a key if shown it first.

3) Familiar's Fang Cape — This small black cloth that can be tied to a familiar as a cape to change its creature type to undead, as well as making it grow little bat wings and fangs. The familiar gains a flying speed and the ability to make a bite attack that deals necrotic damage and restores hit points.

4) Ambitious Medic’s Badge — A magical badge etched with a raven feather and herb sprig. Wearing it replaces any lost limbs with blue, rubbery replacements, and you gain bonuses to Medicine checks you make while wearing it. You can also restore hit points to other creatures using your Hit Dice, and determine other creatures' creature types.

5) Adventurer's Galoshes — A pair of well-worn boots that always appear dirty yet never leaves mud behind. Wearing these boots gives you and nearby friend creatures a climbing speed and your speed can't be reduced.

6) Rings of Many Pockets — This set of four rings each contain a small extradimensional space. You can store 1 item in each ring, producing one of them in your hand as a bonus action.

7) Platinum Lord's Pride — This shining silver armor was a gift from a divine dragon to a lawful servant. While wearing it you gain resistance to radiant damage and can spend charges to call down a divine sword, cast a ranged version of revivify, or enter an avatar form with a flying speed and enhanced damage and healing. However, you also gain a new flaw, holding others to a high standard and your alignment shifts towards lawful-good.
