You can use an action while holding this wooden shield to speak its command word. When you do, up to 1d4 random job postings appear on the shield, as if they were attached to it. The jobs originate from public signs within 1 mile of you; if there are no postings within the area, no jobs appear on the shield. The postings are illusory and contain a mixture of wanted posters, job offers, and similar requests for help, as determined by the GM. A job posting remains on the shield until the next dawn or until you complete the job, whichever comes first.

Once this property of the shield has been used, it can't be used again until the next dawn.

"Let's see, let's see, what are the local jobs?"

"Farmer needs help finding lost sheep? Pass."
"Baker needs 20 pounds of flour? Don't got that."
"Detain 'Cali the Brash'?"
