Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!
1) Ankheg Mandible — A large ankheg mandible has been fashioned into a shovel-like sword. It deals extra acid damage on a hit and you can use an action to excavate a 5-foot cube of loose earth.
2) Apparition's Arrow — This arrow has a mass of ragged fabric tied around the shaft, turning into a haunting figure while in flight. When fired, any creature that sees the attack must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or believe the figure to be real. Higher rarity variants exist that cause you to become invisible until the end of your next turn.
3) Battlechef’s Serving Bowls — Two oblong metal bowls, each large enough to hold enough food for three creatures, with leather straps that can be used either for carrying dishes or attaching them as pauldrons. While wearing them, if you would gain 1 or more levels of exhaustion, you can make a Constitution saving throw to ignore one level.
4) Aegis Grimoire — A large leather shield bound with brass and covered in arcane sigils, resembling an arcane tome, while the back in parchment and magic scripts, functioning as a wizard's spellbook. While holding the shield, you can expend charges to cast various spells such as mage armor, shield, or stoneskin. Additionally, you can attempt to absorb hostile wizard spells used against you and inscribe them later into your spellbook.
5) Scarecrow Staff — This staff was fashioned from an old scarecrow, causing birds to avoid it at all costs. You can expending some of its charges to cast spells such as fear or phantasmal killer, and can plant the staff into the ground to cast the alarm spell around the surrounding area.
6) Deep Sea-mitar — This weapon is made of a petrified octopus tentacle, sharpened to a fine edge and you gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls. While attuned, you gain a swimming speed, can breathe water, and can communicate with beasts that breathe water. You can expend its charges to cast various water related spells. Additionally, the weapon can allow you to charm a creature or create a sphere of water to contain a Large or smaller target.
7) Cad Cork — A magical cork that can be used to seal bottles. A Strength check is required to remove the cork without using the command word, with DC depending on the rarity. A bottle is considered magical during this time and can't be destroyed as normal.
