Professor's Log #1 (Patreon)

Here's my first patreon update! Most of these will probably just be a steam of thought as opposed to concrete updates on projects. I hope it serves as some interesting insight for you. I might do video ones in the future.

Christmas is in a few days. I had this idea for a Christmas special for a while, but couldn't really nail down the exact concept. It's very late, but I think I struck a good idea. At the very least, it's an idea that excites me to do, which has come less and less as I get older, sadly. It's always nerve wracking to venture away from comedy, which I consider my forte. I hope the Christmas special doesn't fall flat because of my deviation. But I think it will be good for me to explore different genres of entertainment.

What will be interesting will be the lack of guest appearances for this Christmas special. It will be due to a mix of lack of time, people being busy on Christmas, but also for the sake of doing a project alone. For this upcoming stream, I will be doing it alone. It will be the overall loose theme of the special. Being alone. A lot has transpired this past year. It has been the hardest year for myself, and also for those around me as well. The entire LIGMA crew went through a lot. Not to put down the positive experiences as well. There were definitely multitudes of victories to celebrate. A year of extreme ups and downs, I would say. But going into 2024, it will be a year I attempt to focus on myself much more. Myself and my content as well, which spurred my decision to make this Patreon entering the new year. I think there's a lot I have left on the table in terms of my creative aspirations and personal growth this past year.

Anyways, wish me luck on this Christmas special. I got a lot of filming to cram in these next two days! I hope it will be something we can all look back on affably in the future.
