I noticed that her shoes are lot more detailed here. for me, the friendship between Jenna and Karen is one of the biggest mysteries of EveryDay !! XD i can’t even imagine them being in the same room! I have so many questions!! Like… How did they meet? Why does Jenna follow Karen around? Why does Karen put up with Jennas tomfoolery? does Karen even like Jenna? And if Karen does like Jenna, why does she like Jenna? damn, I need to see volume 2!! Actually, I do have a question about one of the Jennas “traits” In one of Jennas first sketches it was stated that Jenna likes to tickle people, but this was way back when only Sandy was allowed to be tickled. Was it planned for Jenna to tickle sandy at some point? Because I doubt Karen would ever get tickled in the main story, so i was wondering why this trait was given to Jenna, was it just a fun fact? Am I analysing this too much? XD

Finally it's Jenna's turn ❤️ The shoes are more detailed. I wanted to create them better. I can't answer any of your questions except the last one. But I can tell you that sometimes we authors don't decide everything. Many choices arise by themselves, by chance. As for the last question, before making the first volume of Every Day that some of you have read, I had created others. Almost 10 years ago I wrote, drew and printed the first volume of Every Day which was much shorter (57 pages) and then I made the second, where Karen also appeared. In this second volume there was a short gag where Karen was being tickled by Jenna. At the time, I had created a less serious Every Day. I wasn't too sure I was going to put in a scene with Karen being tickled anyway, but in the end I did. After the first two volumes my eye disease made me depressed and unfortunately I stopped for a few years. Every Day was not successful and I thought he was very aged and badly done (I was young and inexperienced) so I took courage and wrote it all over again. I created a new first volume and a new start. However, I retained the characteristic that Jenna tickled people. I don't know how much she will do it, but it is a trait I want to leave at least in her description of her. Thanks to your question I was able to tell this story. xD

I'm on vacation now, but when I get home I could post it here 😜 The gag was this: Karen is baking something and she starts laughing with a wicked laugh. Initially, only her face is framed. But the shot moves away and we see that Karen is laughing because Jenna is tickling her belly, so no evil laugh but a ticklish laugh. 😆
