kdrama poll (pt. 2) (Patreon)

Two things:

1. I am considering a new series to replace Strangers from Hell once it's finished (it's done being recorded/scheduled). Important that the show performs well on YT in case it'll be made into videos, and I don't want the show to be too long (~90 min runtime/16+ eps) because kdramas are dropping left and right lately, and it seems important to be somewhat caught up with the latest/greatest series. It's good to be flexible to jump onto something if/when it blows up.

The choice is yours if you'd like the vibes/genres to be different from the shows that are being covered. It seems some may not prefer two dark shows going at the same time, as an example, but engagement is most important here, so up to y'all.

2. I am wanting to share some thoughts I received from some patrons in regard to kdrama reactions on the page. This will help be transparent and let you know where my head is when it comes to choosing shows that we cover.

Being that I've made a new Patreon page it's all the more important for me to cover the more "trendy" things, so that is an important factor here and on YouTube as well.

I am pretty data driven in that regard, so I am researching shows on YouTube reaction data and engagement across Patreon.

From your suggestions, some people think that trendy shows will always overshadow the timeless/classic shows and feel like I won't ever be able to cover those shows as a result. With that in mind, I'd like to tell you that as we begin to regrow the page, I will be trying to work out a system for 1 trendy/recent show, 1 classic/older/timeless show on occasion. It may not always be that way, tbh I've been loving the newer shows that's come from the boom of Korean media.

There may be times where there are two "trendy/recent" shows going on at a time. There also may be times where there is only one kdrama going on too, but this is just to share what I'm looking into.

I am aware that there are some opinions that goes into being "timeless/classic" so I'll be researching on my own and taking suggestions to jot down for the future show slots. For those, I'd like them to be able to be posted here and on YouTube and have the time between air time and my reaction time, not affect the performance of the video. (again, important as I am trying to grow still, of course).

Based on feedback/data I find, I may do another poll, but this is a start.

With that, I have finished Deaths Game. I absolutely love it!

The next show I'll begin backlogging for whenever there's a new slot is Night Has Come (this does not mean it's the next show up unless desired, but it'll be content that I'll have ready to go.)
