Ended up modeling Dax in PSX style since I think she was better suited for it.
Here's a cleaner look at my animation, wireframes, and textures

Heavily inspired by my favorite PSX game Mega Man Legends, though a bit more wiggle room with the polycount. Overall I think figuring out how to approach the texturing was the hardest part. Her design may seem simple at a glance but it was still kind of tricky to set up her UVs nicely with similar texel density!
