A test walk cycle! Like most beat-em ups, I tried rendering this out in a slight 3/4s view.

With the idea of making her 3D model into pseudo pixel art, I've also been trying to figure out how to cut back on the amount of poses I need to render out for animations without making it look too awkward.  Hopefully I'm almost there! Since I'm rendering her around 300px, I need to touch up her face in the renders as well as try adding an outline (maybe). While editing 9 images sounds better than editing 15, I still haven't decided which one to go for!

Bonus one based on really really old beat-em ups. Definitely won't use this one!

Whoa, this is really great! The 9 Poses version flows like 90s Capcom Arcade animations. Imagining what an Uppercut animation would look like, haha. Also, never realized how much I love those shoes. Keep up the great work!

Thank you! Once I get her frame rate down, I'll definitely do some actual attack animations!
