One movie I don't think has been mentioned is 2010's "Daybreakers" with Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe. It could be interpreted as a sequel to "I Am Legend", envisioning what would happen if the vampires took over the world. The vampires try to lead a normal modern life, while facing the problem that they're running out of blood and they can't go out in the sun.

Did anyone mention Shadow of the Vampire, great movie about the making of Nosferatu. And I just read today that Defoe is playing the lead in a new version of Nosferatu, though not sure how accurate that is. You mentioned Dacre Stoker - we had writer Chris McAuley on the Innsmouth Book Club recently. He was telling us about a new project he is launching along with DS called the Stokerverse.
